The disc brake has both the revolving disc and the brake body engaging on one or both sides of the disc and in the area of their lining, wave-shaped formations with raised and lowered parts, which provide a braking action by counter engagement. The brake disc (1) has on its outer area three wave-shaped such formations (1a) in which during a braking section two brake bodies (2, 2') engage from the outside in an axial direction with their linings in a tooth-like manner. The brake bodies likewise have wave-shaped formations (2a, 2b, 2a', 2b') for engagement in those of the disc.
