The clock signal generator is designed so that losses due to its having to charge and discharges its load capacitance are reduced. Each output (A) is connected via a MOSFET switch (MS) to an additional capacitor (CZ) connected to earth. The load capacitance (CL) is between earth and the output. When the load capacitance is discharged over the generator by closing the switch a part of this charge flows to the additional capacitor where it is stored. When the load capacitance is charged via the generator the charge is partly obtained from the additional capacitor by closing the switch.
