Hammer forging press for rings - with primary and finish triblet attached to ram by hydraulic piston drives

A hammer forging press has fixed on the press ram one part of a cylinder/piston drive which carries on its moving part a finish triblet. This drive can be locked in its two extreme positions by a horizontal latch to the press ram. An extension of the press table carries a bottom female die. The rear of the ram carries a pre-triblet. This is a simple design which includes the fittings for all press. operations. It requires a minimum of labour and requires no shifting of tools or press table.
