The connector provides flexible links between two components particularly to support an engine in a motor vehicle. A tension proof flat fabric or webbing (1) has thick elastic beading (3,4) made from rubber fitting in cut away sections (2) on the edges. Clamps (7,8) keep the components together. Inside the beading there are rod shaped or ring shaped cores (5,6) that are thicker than the webbing. A particular design has a circular webbing section with a central cut away area in which a ring shaped beading fits. At least part of the beading is non symmetrical relative to the core, and the beading is sprayed or vulcanised onto the core. The webbing has a thin layer of rubber sprayed onto it.
