Fork lift truck with weighing device - has conventional yard arm weighing device fitted to loading platform

Fork lift trucks often carry goods which have to be weighed. It is traditional to weigh truck and load on a stationary scale and to subtract the truck weight. This needs two men and moving to a heavy capacity scale, so the invention covers a weighing device fitted to the truck loading platform. The platform is connected to the weighing mechanism via a fork arrangement and an indicator for the weight is placed in easy view of the drives. The weighing device is of the traditional yard arm type, adjustments being easily made by the driver. Platform and weighing mechanism can be locked.
