The arrangement is preferably applied for load summation control to adjust the strokes of a number of parallel hydrostatic pumps as a functionof the hydraulic pressure. Each pump circuit is connected with a control unit via a throttle valve. A through-way valve is interposed between the two parallel lines to the control units, thus permitting these lines to be interconnected at will, when the pump controls will operate in unison. The through-way valve is connected behind the respective throttle valves. It may have lines for hydraulic connection to both sides of the throttle valves.
