METHOD OF SUCCESSIVELY OPENING-OUT AND TREATING PRODUCTIVE FORMATIONS

Abstract of the DisclosureIn the disclosed method of successively opening-out andtreating formations nozzles are finely pressed against thecasing walls in opposition to the selected area of forminga hydraulic fracturing, the nozzle having, each, athrough passage of a diameter ensuring that at a constantspecified flow rate of a fluid with an abrasive filler throughthe passage there will be built up a pressure sufficient forhydraulic fracturing of the formation. The abrasive-luden fluidis then pumped through the nozzles at the constant flowrate at a pressure sufficient for making perforation in thecasing wall, the pressure being not less thant that requiredfor hydraulic fracturing of the formation, until a perforationof a diameter substantially equal to that of the throughpassages of the nozzles is formed. With the perforation made, therate of flow of the fluid with the abrasive filler, pumpedthrough the nozzles, is varied to produce a constant pressurewithin the bed formation, not less than the pressure requiredfor hydraulic fracturing of this formation.
