Abstract of the DisclosureThis invention relates to a process for the makingof cold-hardening foams containing urethane groups by in-mold foaming. The need to use a relatively large number ofadditives like emulsifiers, stabilizers and activators canbe eliminated by using certain silicon compounds of a specificformula. Foamable reaction mixtures using these compoundswith polyethers, polyisocyanates, water and/or organicblowing agents, and catalysts will produce foams with prop-erties acceptable for use in upholstery, cars, and furniture.
