A method for automatically tuning of at least one high frequency - resonant circuit

One resonant circuit is tuned, and the h.f. signal is within a certain frequency band. A motor mechanically coupled with the circuit tuning means is stopped when the resonant circuit frequency is equal to that of the applied h.f. signal. The tuning process is initiated by an external command applied to a logic circuit which then starts the motor in one of the two directions. A tapped part of an electric output variable (power, voltage, current) from the resonant circuit is rectified, differentiated and applied to a logic circuit. When this output signal is negative, the logic circuit reverses the motor, and when it is positive, the motor is allowed to run until it becomes zero.
