Slewing tower crane with auxiliary crane fitting - has additional sections to tail end of sliding jib for operation in confined space

The slewing twoer crane has a horizontal jib with travelling crab and sliding in a horizontal guide piece at the tower head. Jib sections (12) of identical cross-section can be fitted to the tail end of the jib (4), and to allow this the guide piece (9) protrudes from one side of the tower. Above the guide piece there is an auxiliary crane (11), lifting the jib sections (121) to be fitted until their lower ends are level with the top lengthwise member (14) of the jib. This allows the crane to be adapted to work in confined spaces, in addition to which erection is very simple, requiring the minimum amount of auxiliary equipment.
