An elapsed day measuring band for Conscript soldiers or time serving personnel is used to control their period of service. The band may be 3.69 m long, and it may be 1.5 cm broad. The day measuring band includes a day numbering arrangement from 0 to 400 and the figures from 0 to 99 are 6 mm high whilst those from 100 to 400 have a height of 5 mm. Each day section has a measurement of 1.5 by 0.9 cms with the total band length being 3.69 m and the band has a total diameter of 3 cms when rolled up. The day measuring band is produced by the photoprint process and can be printed in various colours.
