The receiver consists of an r.f. amplifier, mixer, an i.f. amplifier and a limiter. The transmitter has a phase modulator, and the receiver a frequency demodulator and a relaxation convertor. A differentiating coder is at the phase modulator modulation input, and a differentiating coder is at the phase modulator modulation input, and a differentiating decoder at the relaxation convertor output. The differentiating coder consists of an EXCLUSIVE OR circuit and of an one bit delay line. The signal to be coded is applied to the EXCLUSIVE-OR Circuit one input, and the delay line output is connected to its second input. The EXCLUSIVE-OR circuit output is connected to the delay line input.
