The amphibious boat has a screw at its rear, the screw being driven by a hydraulic motor. In the lower part of the hull are folding wheels, also driven by hydraulic motors when used on land. There is an internal combustion engine which drives a hydraulic oil pump to feed the motors. Each rear wheel is hinged to an arm, in turn hinged to the boat frame on an axis across the length of the boat. When the wheels are folded, they are also covered up. The drive to the wheels is via a cardan shaft and shock absorbers are included in the suspension, which is similar for the front wheels.
