The descriptive label (16) is used for a medicine container (10), in the form of an elongated box (12), closed by a cap (14) of similar form fitted onto the open end of the box (12). The label (16) is in two parts (20, 22) held together by a removable strip (24) one part (20) of the label secured to the cap (14) and the other secured to the box (12). Pref. the medicine container (10) is of rectangular cross-section, the label (16) also being rectangular, with the removable strip (24) extending across its width and extending beyond its longitudinal edge to form a grip. The label (16) may be self-adhesive.
