The cable fixing clip consists of a thin narrow strip. This strip has a narrow rounded end (2) that can be gripped with the fingers. It has a smooth part (3) followed by a toothed part (4) on one side only of the strip. The teeth are inclined in the opposite direction to the narrow rounded edge (2) of the strip. After the toothed part (4) the strip has another smooth part (6). At the end of this smooth part (6) is a hook (7) and a boss (8). The teeth (4) are used to grip the edge of an hole (10) whilst the strip (1) is passed around the cables. The edge with the boss (18) and hook (7) on is passed throught the other side of the hole (10). The hook (7) gripping the other side of the hole and the boss (8) presses against the strip and holds the hook (7) in position.
