The circular saw blade has demountable diamond-tipped teeth bits (4) which are secured by an expanding sleeve (6) engaging bit tenons (5). The blade has a series of identical 'U' shaped notches cut at regular intervals in the blade edge and forming level seats for the teeth bits. The level headed tongues (2) between each notch are provided with at least one radial hole (3). The holes are penetrated by tongues projecting down from the haunch of the bit and a tensioned bolt completes the connection. A particular detail may have two blind holes (3) in the saw tongue (2). The bit (4) has two projecting dowels (5) which enter the holes (3). A coned bolt (9) in a split (10, 11) sleeve (6) is located between the two dowels in a hole (7) in the blade (1) and engages opposed dowel notches (8).
