Peripheral control point for security surveillance system - allows security man to report to central control and carries alarm switching system

The security surveillance system has a number of peripheral control points, allowing a surveillance office to transmit coded or verbal information to a central control point. Each control point comprises a housing mounted on a wall, with external controls. There is a key contact(1) for silencing an activated alarm. A contact is provided which is actuated by breaking a glass cover(3) to provide a telephone link to the central control and a security contact(6). Pref. the surveillance officer actuates the key contact(1) on passing each peripheral control point, with the interval between the signals received from neighbouring control points being timed.
