Tree stump lifting attachment for excavator - has pivoted hook blade to lift stumps which are then crushed by second blade

The attachment can be fitted to the arms of an excavator in place of the bucket. An extension arm (14) is fitted to the excavator arms and carries an arm (2) and a cutting blade (3) in bearings (8). An hydraulic jack (15) is connected between blade (3) and arms (13). A bracket (10) is connected to the rod of the bucket tilt jack. The bucket tilt jack is operated to engage hook (1) below a large stump and its surface (1b) rolls on the ground as a pivot enabling hook (1) to lever the stump up. The stump can be crushed between arm (2) and blade (3) by operating jack (15).
