The building structure comprises a skeleton of prefabricated components, a number of plate-type ones one above the other being joined by supporting columns fitting in tubular sockets at the corners. The columns(1, 6) are of concrete, each with a pin portion(2, 7) extending axially from each end. The weight of the columns and of the plate-type components(3) is transmitted by tubular profiled fixed sections(4, 8), cast in the concrete plate-type components, so that the corners of the latter each cover a quarter of the column head.
