Closed circuit cleaning system for food industry containers - uses alternate flow of alkaline and acid followed by flushing with water

Two containers are cleaned by using an alkaline solution and an acid. The alkaline solution in a storage container flows into a pipe line when a valve is opened and is pumped by a pump along a pipe. The liquid is delivered to one food container by opening an appropriate valve. - The alkaline solution returns to the storage container and the system is then flushed with water by opening a further valve. - After flushing, acid from another storage container is pumped around the system which is then flushed again.
