Data terminal modem - provides automatic control to set and reset concentrator and terminal, on start and completion of data transfer

The system provides for connection between the data terminal and the concentrator when a connection request key is operated, to allow the terminals auxiliary circuit to transmit information when the concentrator is in the receive condition. On completion of data transfer, the terminal is automatically set into the receive mode. - The system includes control lines to set the concentrator into the receive condition, to switch the auxiliary circuit on and off and to recognize the start and finish of data transmission.
