Capacitive control of high voltage windings for transformer made up from disc coils. The high voltage windings are made up from continuously wound double coils and an auxiliary control conductor with increased longitudinal capacity. The high voltage conductor (2) carries the load current and the control is exercised by the auxiliary conductor (4) which runs parallel to it. The combinations of the two conductors cover winding sections making up at least four continuous disc coils (3). The centre coil connection of the control conductor in the individual winding sections are broken and the two conductor ends are joined outside the winding section in question.
