The receiving and transmission system using a radiation fed phase controlled aerial has a receiver (1) and transmitter (2) connected by a changeover switch (3) and then by another switch (4) to alternative horn exciters (5, 6). These, and possibly further exciters form a primary exciter arrangement and have different bundle characteristics. In an alternative arrangement, the primary exciter consists of an exciter group which has different apertures which are activated by switching. This can be excited by a non switched load distributor. In one position a central area is excited, and in another position, the whole group is excited.
