The central heating system uses a flue gas heated heat storage device with the flue gas tube formed into a spiral and passing through the storage device. The heat exchange substances and the tube system which includes the heating medium return are heated by the hot gases. This heat is passed through the circuit or stored in a heat exchanger and controlled by thermostatic valves. This system can also be built into the chimney, assisted by the draught through the chimney. In the case where there is unsufficient draught an extraction fan can be used. The flow of liquid or gaseous medium through the heat storage unit can be controlled thermostatically are by a valve in conjunction with the circulating pump.
