The assembly of urban transport rail-bound vehicles, comprises individual wagons equipped for traction and multiple control. The mobile driver's cab saves the waste normally involved in having frequently unused cabs at the end of each vehicle. The two-direction driver's cab (2) is attached to the front of the train with a mechanical automatic rapid coupling. It is equipped with servie and control elements for train control. It incorporates a rail-borne chassis with hydraulically retractable rollers (5) and can be positioned with the aid of a hoist.
