Regulation of relative humidity in room - uses surface humidity sensor which provides electrical signal to control level within set limits

A sensing and regulatory system is used to provide control of relative humidity within a specific area. The system responds to any change that causes the environmental condition to exceed predetermined limits. A surface humidity sensor (2) is mounted on the surface of the controlled unit (1). The sensor outputs directly in electrical form to an isolated stage (4) via electrical conductors. A standard multicore coupling (10) provides cables for the supply, the relative humidity electrical signals and the standard resistor for control of the room temp. The humidity sensor is formed by thin films deposited on dielectric plates on which are fitted noble metal electrodes.
