The jig which is readily attached to accident damaged motor vehicle enables repair work to be carried out in general without removal of the engine. The jig is attached to undamaged area to permit other areas to be repositioned correctly. The jig (1) comprises rectangular frame (2) with two parallel risers (3) perpendicular to frame. These are connected by cross member (4) and reinforcing sections (5). Similar reinforcing sections (6) are welded to the frame. Two supports (7) enable frame to rest on ground under vehicle being repaired to support vehicle chassis sections (8) by means of fixing bolts (12) through holes (10, 3a).
