The control mechanism is for deflecting the propulsion jets of an amphibious vehicle. The vehicle has power assisted steering worked by fluid pressure. The deflectors are controlled by the mechanism. The pressure supply simultaneously feeds the steering and the rams. A lever operates switches of electromagnetic valves for the rams, a switch controlling the propulsion jets. The excitation contact of the ram control valves is in series with the electromagnetic valves.
