The machining time evaluating method uses the sum of two time periods. The first machining time period known as the "technological time Tt" is the cutting time of machining passes increased by the times of other machining operations. The second time perido known as the movements time Tm". The technological time is calculated by a known method. The movements time is obtained by considering three parameters, p, q, and c where p represents the weight of the components, q the machining quality of the piece and c the degree of complexity of the shape to be produced.
