摘要

The apparatus senses humidity of the outside air, humidity of the soil in the region of the plant roots, the outside air temperature and the temperature in the soil by sensors. The signals are fed to a control box which causes energisation of solenoid valves in the watering system via relays dependent on the signals received. The apparatus prevents watering when the air temperature or soil temperature are too low so as to avoid damage to plants or freezing in the water pipes.
