ASSEMBLING ERROR DETECTING METHOD FOR RECORDING AND REPRODUCING MECHANISM PART

PURPOSE:To detect the accuracy of parts and assembling error of the recording and reproducing mechanism, by compulsively widening the floating gap between the magnetic head and the recording media, through the amount of air blowing from the rotary type magnetic head holder and the tension wound on the rotary type magnetic head of the flexible media. CONSTITUTION:The tension T is exerted at the both ends of the recording media 4, and air blows from the hole of a small diameter at the outer side of the standstill cylinders 1, 2 and the rotary type magnetic head holder 3. When this tension T and the amount of air P blown are changed, the floating ga changes and it effects on the reproducing output of the magnetic head. This tension T and the amount of air P are changed with external conditions, the floating gap between the magnetic head and the recording media is compulsively widened to obtain the condition of the reproducing output easily drooping. Thus, the accuracy of parts and assembling error of the recording and reproducing mechanism are easily detected and corrected, allowing to stabilize the function of recording and reproduction.
