LOGARITHMIC PERIOD ANTENNA FOR SHORT WAVE BAND

摘要

PURPOSE:To extend the characteristics at low frequency band more than double, by well-designed support of logarithmic period antenna. CONSTITUTION:The logarithmic period antenna consists of the support 1, antenna element 2, insuraltors 3', 4, intermediate power feeding insulator 5, power feeding line 6, and support stay for support. A plurality of conductors 9 are suspended around the support 1 with a given distance. Concretely, each conductor 9 is connected and supported to the metal fixture 10 provided at the top and suitable positions on its way of the support 1, each lower end of the conductor 9 is in common connection with the ring conductor 11 and it is fastened with earth via the insulator 12. Further, the constituent consisting of the support 1 and the conductor 9 can be regarded as the base ground vertical antenna taking the lower end common connection of each conductor 9 as the power feeding point 14.
