The cavity wall is intended as a party wall and consists of two wall panels (2) separated by the width of the cavity (3). Each panel comprises a frame (4) of wooden frame members (5). The spaces between the frame members within the frame are filled by rock-wool plates (7) whilst the outside of the frame is covered by fire retardant cover plates (8).
