Silicon-iron sheet contg. boron with good magnetic props. - obtd. using a final anneal to develop secondary crystallisation

摘要

A cold rolled sheet consists of 2.2-4.5% Si, 5-45 ppm B, 15-95 ppm N with 2-4 N : IB, 0.007-0.06% S and 0.002-0.1% Mn, the S : Mn ratio being such as to result in =0.007% S in solute form when the sheet is heat treated at 950 degrees C during texture developing. Fire grained Si-Fe sheet is amde by cold rolling and subjecting to a final heat treatment to decarbonise it and develops (110) 001 secondary recrystallisation texture in it.
