The automatic venting valve in hydraulic systems releases air accumulated in a closed system. This valve releases air after pressure increase in the system. Compressibility of air is utilised in venting valve operation. - The valve housing (1) has an air compression chamber (a). A piston (4) closes this chamber against braking system when pressure in liquid increases. The chamber is connected subsequently to atmosphere and compressed air is able to escape through outlet (b) from compression chamber. The composite piston has a small piston (4a) for controlling the outlet opening (b). This composite piston is pushed by a preloaded spring (6) into a position where the chamber is connected to the brake system.
