The T.V. receiver has both its radio receiver and LF amplifier designed to receive stereophonic signals. Two or more loudspeakers are located in a shared housing and acoustically decoupled from one another. The loudspeakers are driven in stereophonic mode when the radio receiver is being used and in pseudo-stereophonic mode for t.v. The decoded t.v. audio signal is passed to the input of a filter connected to the input of the LF amplifier. This filter divides the monophonic signals into two separate LF channels to produce the pseudo-stereophonic sound when the composite receiver is being used as a t.v. receiver.
