The scraper board has a top layer of ink sprayed or printed onto an intermediate layer of metallic foil. The latter is secured to a base layer of sheet material, the ink composition being such that when it is scraped, portions of the metallic layer are exposed according to a predetermined pattern. The ink pref. comprises a mixture of printing ink and turpentine substitute, the ratio of the components being in the range 60-40 to 40-60. The ink may also comprise a colour tinted lacquer or varnish. The foil pref. has a colour tinted surface finish.
