Automatic carriageway barrier blocking incorrect approach - has alarm activated sleeper in road, elastic signboard and interceptor

Drivers are prevented from even accidentally entering the wrong carriageway, by a barrier automatically activated by an alarm and interceptor let into the road surface. It consists of a mechanically activated release sleeper fastened in the road surface, with electronic contact loop (2), together with connecting elements (3), a warning board, of carriageway width, which is elastic and tiltable (4), and the interceptor device (5). There can also be warning lamps (6), and a special coding system to allow police, rescue vehicles and others to pass in the wrong direction in an emergency.
