Microprocessor family planning calculator - is programmed to evaluate safety period of birth control based upon menstrual cycle

A microprocessor based unit, for use as an aid to family planning, monitors and calculates the so called safe period for birth control. The unit is designed to be coupled to an existing electronic device, such as a digital alarm clock. Input selectors (3) allow the date and time to be entered. An additional key (7) is operrated by the woman at the commencement of her menstruation period. This causes the data to be entered into a non-volatile r.a.m. built into the microprocessor unit (1). An indicator (5) is illuminated when the key is active. Once activated the key is inhibited until the following menstruation cycle. The microprocessor is programmed to calculate the safe period and has a facility allowing for variations in menstruation cycle.
