Urban car transport system on rails - involves control linked conveyors, ramped stations, remote control switch points and spacing system

The system is for conveying non-guided traffic vehicles, by means of rail-bound vehicles, esp. in urban transport. Use is made of simple transport vehicles, with elements for propulsion, for fixing non-rail bound vehicles in place, for communicating with central traffic control, and for energy transmission to the conveyed vehicles; also with brakes. There are stations with loading ramps, remote-controlled junction points to switch transport vehicles to and from the main track, and a safe interval maintenance system. This combines flexibility of motor cars with a public urban transport system favourable to the environment.
