Cyclic machine tool program control device - operates on cam-driven tools by shifting positioning point as tool approaches to reduce idle time

A cyclic electrical program control device for technological equipment e.g. machine tools having tools positioned by adjustable cam arrangements increases the equipment efficiency by raising accuracy. This is achieved by automatically shifting the positioning point as the tool approaches it. A desired value adjuster (6) for the tool (4) position correction value and a time delay circuit (7) are connected in series with the desired value adjuster receiving an input from the program input device (1). The time delay circuit (7) receives an input from the cam switch (5a) and its output drives the controller (2) of the tool drive (3). The rest time of the equipment is reduced compared to conventional arrangements. The adjustment and monitoring part consists of cam switches (5a) on the tool and cams (5b) attached to the fixed machine part.
