Incorrect road approach automatic barrier flap - sinks under weight then returns and incorporates springs, chains and hinges

The device is for use in motorway/exit roads, parking areas, motels and petrol-filling stations. The flap runs across the carriageway, allowing vehicles to pass in the correct direction without hindrance, but presenting a significant obstacle to any vehicle approaching the other way. It is loaded so as to be barely visible in the correct direction of travel, and is pressed down under weight, then returns to its original position. It has compression springs and securing chains between these; also hinges. The main part is of 3-5 mm. thick metal plate, with a non-skid surface, and reflectors. The whole device is enclosed in a case which is inserted a prepared groove.
