Hydraulic plant filling and emptying appliance - operates with float maintaining relief valve closed, when fluid level is near outlet

The appliance is for a plant containing a limited amount of fluid; esp. a plant having a working cylinder. It has a presure vessel, divided by a movable wall ito a fluid-and a gas chamber, with a connection valve unit. A ventilation unit in a connection between fluid chamber and atmosphere has a relief valve with seat and seal, and a float to determine the seal position. When the fluid in the vessel reaches a certain level, the float acts with it, to attempt to maintain the seal on the valve seat. The gluid outlet is located at the same height as that occupied by the fluid level, when the float closes the relief valve.
