A variety of experiments can be set up in a portable electronics teaching aid using pre-wired circuit boards (12-15). All board widths are multiples of the narrowest (13) so that their fixing screws (17) always align with captive nuts (16) spaced along the mounting rails (10, 9, 11). Pins on the backs of the cards plug into sockets (20) spaced along the insulated bus-bars (18, 19) which supply power and provide interconnections. The container (1) is the bottom half of a suitcase, complete with handle (4), locks (5, 6) and mains connector (8). The container is wedge-shaped with the working surface sloping towards the user. The complementary wedge shaped lid can be detached from the hinges (3). It is used to hold accessories and circuit boards not in use.
