POLE CHANGE WINDING METHOD FOR INDUCTION MOTOR

PURPOSE:To form a 2 pole-4 pole change motor having balanced characteristics by winding the coils commonly used for 2 poles and 4 poles and a coil exclusive for 2 poles on the motor. CONSTITUTION:A main winding 2 is coaxially wound with two winding groups connected to terminals 4 and 5 respectively, and an auxiliary winding 3 is also coaxially wound with two winding groups connected to terminals 6 and 7 respectively. The terminals 5 and 7 of the main and auxiliary windings 2 and 3 respectively form a common terminal 8. A coil 9 exclusive for 2 poles is connected and wound to the connectors of the main windings. When the 2 poles are wound, the terminal 11 exclusive for 2 pole coil 9 is connected to the terminal 8, and the connector 12 of the two winding groups of the auxiliary winding 3 is also connected to the terminal 8. When the 4 poles are wound, the terminal 11 exclusive for 2 pole coil 9 is released from the connection to the terminal 8, and the connector 12 of the two winding group of the auxiliary winding 2 is also released from the connection to the common terminal 8.
