PURPOSE:To collate easily a print of a seal on a form by reading a print of a seal together with code data and by displaying it together with corresponding to seal data recorded in a file device. CONSTITUTION:Forms of bills, checks, etc., fed out of hopper 4, one by one, are sent to magnetic head 5, which reads their magnetic ink characters to obtain code data of customers. Furthe, image sensor 7 reads prints of seals on forms and display device 2 displays them. On the other hand, corresponding seal data stored in a file device are read by using the code data and display on display device 2. Thus, since input prints of seals and registered prints of seals are both displayed, they are collated with each other easily. For general forms as well as bills and checks, code data is obtained by using the image sensor.
