PURPOSE:To achieve improvement of assembling work efficiency, by using such an assembling method as housing unit, etc., in such a manner as to provide four corners of a rectangular framework member with projected connecting pieces for overlapped fitting, adjust the length of the overlapping and then make compensation of variation of the beam length. CONSTITUTION:After completion of positioning of vertical surface constituting members 3 and 4 and also of horizontal surface constituting members 1 and 2, a left surface cylinder device 70 is operated to push a vertical cradle 50 in its vertical receiving surface 501 until it becomes in contact with an overlap amount control unit R of an overlap amount control device 10 inserted in a hole 6 of the horizontal surface constituting members 1 and 2, a connecting piece 7b of the left vertical surface constituting member 3 is overlappingly fit to front end sections of beams 11, 12 and 21 or 22 on the opposite surface, and thus overlapped sections are joined. And then, a right surface cylinder device 70 is driven to overlappingly fit and join a connecting section 7b of a right vertical surface constituting member 4 to rear end sections of opposite beams 11, 12 and 21 or 22, and then, bolt holes 5 of the beams, etc. are accurately positioned on the prescribed locations with respect posts 31 and 32 of the vertical surface constituting member 3.
