The invention refers to a door of the kind that is equipped with a safety pin that is inserted into a counter plate on the hinge side around which is wound a conductor connected to an alarm device. According to the invention, the safety pin is designed to pass unhindered through the opening of the counter plate when the door is opened or closed in a normal fashion. However, the safety pin has a barb that is directed and dimensioned so that it engages with the edge of the opening of the counter plate when the door is broken open from the hinge side when the pin is broken and the conductor wound around this pin breaks and causes the alarm.IMAGE
