The book has certain pages printed with material which is personal to the owner. It uses a set of pages which are partially printed by a printer operated by a controller. Personal data is fed into the controller, and the complete text is printed, together with the personal data, according to the programme of the controller. The leaves are then bound into a book. The system is used for a book containing a story for a child, in which the child can be included as one of the characters.
