Each awning extension arm end has a connecting piece (A) with a tube-engaging attachment with a sloping tension face, while a tension element inserted in the tube end, has a correspondingly inclined counter face and a tension screw. The counter face opposite to the ramp-shaped tension face (3) is formed on the ends of two parallel shanks (9), setting against a side of the tension element (3) cross stem containing the screw hole (9A). Support shanks (10, 11), turned towards the drop tube (14) inside walling, are fitted on the cross stem other side, incorporating a clamping face coaxial with this and working in conjunction with it.
